Michelle & Kevin

I look at my phone ringing and the screen displayed Kevin Ryan, so I answered and we had a great chat, but it’s not often I get to speak to my cousins, we all have such busy lives, but when we talk it’s like we were never apart. I knew Kevin had got engaged a few months back to his long term beautiful fiancé Michelle Bracken. Then he asked “ Clare Frances we would love you to shoot our wedding, but you may not want to , as you may want to be just going as a guest? What?  Kevin ? of course I’d love to shoot your wedding, and don’t worry I will be a guest too! And so the story begins……

I arrived at Michelle’s house to be greeted with all happy faces especially the little ones. Michelle’s nieces , such cuties.. Sharon Noonan from Saffron Rouge( website here ) was finishing off Michelle’s make-up when I arrived,  I was just on time to get those all important make-up shots. I was so excited to see her dress and when I saw it and the details that went in to her own designed dress, I found the perfect spot for it in her parents immaculate garden. The hour moved fast. Tears of joy and so much excitement, Photographing all the regular shots before we left the house, and A beautiful photo of Michelle infront of the stunning corn field behind her home house. There was a big grey cloud hovering over the house, and the rain was unfortunately on it’s way. I left for the church, Hatim my second shooter had went to Kevin’s house and boy what fun they had, pics as proof! Some rain fell, but when Michelle walked up the aisle, Kevin had the biggest smile on his face. He was so proud to be marrying his soul mate, as that is exactly what they are, their eyes met, and that was it …. The day began…This couple are so genuine, and heartfelt.  The ceremony was beautiful performed by Fr Gerry whom made a joke about the wellies on the altar and said he thought it should have been high heels, boy does he not know these pair,,, no heels for Michelle when Kev, when he brings her on the farm.. It was so lovely seeing and capturing both families.

It was so funny one minuteMichelle & Kevin had me crying and the next minute they had me bursting in laughter.. this is really how the day was..

and when The ice cream van arrived when that put the icing on the cake..
We done all the family photo’s at the church, and then headed down to the stunning Glasson Golf Club Hotel.  Always treated with a huge smile and heartily welcome from the crew at Glasson, they really do put the family touch to each wedding and not to mentions the great food and service, even when I am not a guest, they will always have a beautiful plate of food for us! The room looked magical detail to every table.

The day went so fast and it goes even faster for each couples wedding I shot, Heading down on the golf carts is definitely one part of the day , everyone has extra laughs , the boys were serious craic, ( literally)  girls you know what I mean hee!) with out going in to all detail. The bridal party photo on the bridge is a must loved shot by all couples! We captured another beautiful bride image once again.
One We got back up o the hotel , it was time to relax, I changed into my outfit for the night, and enjoyed the hilarious speeches, shooting them from my table. First dance and wee bit of more excitement.. The dance floor was full all night, and I never left it either

Michelle and Kevin it was a joy to capture your day, you are both going to have a stunning wedding album, how are you going to choose…….

Also a big thank you to the two videographers on the day, can’t wait to see the video..
